Introduction The following articles are intended to assist you to get the correct impression for portraying a Texan soldier circa 1863. As a company, we do not go for the total realism of the "hard core" groups - but we also steer clear of the "Hollywood" image at the opposite extreme. Essentially we portray the Texans as shabby, hard-looking men who appear to have little discipline off the field but who fight as determined veterans once in combat.
